Saturday’s NCAA Final Four television ratings on CBS were up 7% from a year ago. Last year, UCLA was playing in the Final Four. This year? Not so much. Coincidence? C’mon UCLA fans it’s a joke so hold off on some of the angry responses, OK?

Last year, UCLA played Memphis in the first game of the Final Four doubleheader. This year, Michigan State beat Connecticut in the first game and the ratings for the 2009 first game were up 12% over the UCLA-Memphis game. The North Carolina win over Villanova was up 2% over last year’s Kansas win over North Carolina.
