Hollywood Park to have free general admission on Thursdays

Taking a page from the successful free Fridays at Santa Anita, Hollywood Park has announced that there will be free general admission on Thursdays during the 65-day spring-summer meet that begins April 22.
The Thursday programs will also have $1 hot dogs and sodas, plus $1 beer from noon until 3 p.m. There also will be $1 hot dogs, sodas and beer for Friday-night racing.
The free general admission on Fridays has boosted Santa Anita’s on-track attendance during its current meeting.
