Center Alfred Aboya and swingman Michael Roll were co-winners of the Elvin C. ‘Ducky’ Drake Award for competitive spirit, inspiration and unselfish contributions. Aboya, a senior, has won the award three straight years.

Guard Jrue Holiday was named the most valuable freshman after averaging 8.5 points, 3.8 rebounds and 3.7 assists as a starter. Holiday has announced that he will make himself eligible for the NBA draft in June but will not hire an agent, leaving him the opportunity to return to play next season.
