Web campaign for Manny Ramirez All-Star votes begins

Jason Rosenberg, who already has one baseball blog, now has started another: Vote for Manny.

He’s asking fans to ‘vote early and vote often’’ for Manny Ramirez to become a National League All-Star.

‘I said it would be funny if Manny got elected, because he’s coming off a suspension on July 3 and the All-Star game is a week later, so they [Major League Baseball] don’t even have that sort of built-in protection,’’ Rosenberg told the Associated Press.

He started the new website the night the Dodgers’ Ramirez was suspended for 50 games for violating baseball’s drug policy.
