George Foreman III out, 16-loss woman in at San Manuel

Despite the pasting of freeway billboards that George Foreman’s son, George Foreman III, aka ‘Monk,’ is coming to fight at San Manuel Indian Bingo and Casino in San Bernardino County on Thursday night, he is not.
But he is scheduled to make an appearance during the main-event bouts tonight, and one of those co-main events -- for the San Manuel featherweight championship belt -- is a fight between Rowland Heights’ Rhonda Luna (15-1) and Santa Ana’s Gloria Ramirez.
Sorry to those who might be getting the notice late after Foreman’s promised arrival.
Ramirez has a record of 10-15-6.
San Manuel has announced Foreman’s fight ‘has been postponed to a later date,’ a detail The Times’ Bill Dwyre addressed recently.
The other co-main features heavyweights Lionel Butler (31-15-1) vs. Fred Kassi (12-0).
