Formula One ends season at new circuit in Abu Dhabi this weekend

Even though the Formula One driver and constructor titles have already been decided, this weekend’s debut race in Abu Dhabi should be quite a spectacle.

Built on a man-made island in the city’s marina, the Yas Marina Circuit will play host to the final Formula One race of the season.

Unfortunately, the spectacular new venue will not see the crowning on a new F1 champion. Jenson Button clinched the driver’s title nearly two weeks ago at the Brazilian grand prix and his team, Brawn GP, won the constructors championship.

Still, it’ll be interesting to see which drivers are able to master the new circuit’s complicated layout, which includes 21 corners and the longest straightaway in Formula One.
