UCLA basketball: Pregame

Senior forward Nikola Dragovic, apparently recovered from a bout of food poisoning earlier in the week, warmed up with the rest of the UCLA team before tonight’s exhibition game against Concordia at Pauley Pavilion.

Though healthy, Dragovic was scheduled to start the game on the bench as punishment for missing a team meeting.

The Bruins will need all the healthy bodies they can get with Michael Roll, Brendan Lane and Jerime Anderson -- expected to be their starting point guard -- on the bench in street clothes.

Still nursing the remnants of a groin injury, Anderson looked especially sharp in a blazer but would rather have been in uniform.

‘I wish,’ he said.
