Josh Smith will wait to sign with UCLA; Tyler Lamb makes it official

Josh Smith, the top name among UCLA’s recruiting class, will not be sending his letter of intent to the university today, his father said.

Smith, who could not be reached for comment, will wait until ‘sometime in the next seven to 10 days,’ his father said.

A source close to the situation said Smith, a 6-foot-9 center from Kent, Wash., might be waiting to arrange a signing ceremony at his high school.

However, the Bruins did a receive a letter of intent from Santa Ana Mater Dei High’s Tyler Lamb.
