Steve Physioc, Pete Arbogast to take Rory Markas’ spot at USC

Steve Physioc will do Wednesday’s USC-Stanford basketball game on the radio then Pete Arbogast will finish the season in place of Rory Markas who passed away January 4. Physioc worked with Markas until the end of last season on Angels’ broadcasts.

USC’s 7 p.m. game at Stanford will be on KLAA 830 instead of ESPN 710 because of a Lakers game conflict.

According to USC, a permanent replacement for Markas won’t be chosen until after this basketball season. Arbogast is USC’s football radio play-by-play announcer. Jim Hefner will continue as the radio analyst.
