The PGA Tour announced on its website that Tiger Woods will make a statement at the PGA Tour headquarters on Friday at 8 a.m. PST.
The PGA typically announces on Fridays who will play in the following week’s tournament.
Woods, who has been on a self-imposed break from the game after admitting to infidelity, has been rumored to be preparing to play again at the Tavistock Cup at Lake Nona Golf & Country Club in Florida, near his home. That private tournament begins March 22.
