The Kings announced that winger Justin Williams underwent surgery this week to repair his right shoulder.
Williams, one of the team’s best scorers, dislocated the shoulder late in the regular season. He managed to play in the postseason by wearing a restrictive harness to protect the area.
Before his injury, Williams had scored 22 goals and 35 assists. A full recovery is expected before the start of training camp, the team said.
