Matt Hasselbeck appears to be on his way out of Seattle and to a new NFL home in Tennessee.
The Titans have reached an agreement with the free-agent quarterback, according to various reports. ESPN.com first reported the agreement.
In Hasselbeck, the Titans would have a veteran presence at quarterback to work with No. 8 overall draft pick Jake Locker. Another veteran of the position, Kerry Collins, retired from the Titans three weeks ago, and Vince Young appears to be on his way out of Tennessee.
Hasselbeck spent 10 years in Seattle, leading the Seahawks to their only Super Bowl appearance. Coach Pete Carroll initially said re-signing Hasselbeck was a priority, but the two sides failed to reach an agreement before the NFL lockout.
On Tuesday, the Seahawks agreed to deals with two other free-agent quarterbacks, Tavaris Jackson and Matt Leinart.
