The Clippers are expected to match the offer sheet restricted free-agent center DeAndre Jordan got from the Golden State Warriors on Sunday, two people with knowledge of the situation that were not authorized to speak on the matter said Monday.

Jordan was offered a four-year, $43-million deal from the Warriors. The Clippers got the offer sheet Sunday night and plan to match it so they can hopefully have Jordan in camp in time for Monday night’s practice in Playa Vista.

The Clippers view Jordan as one of their quality young pieces.

“Our goal right now is to obviously to bring him back,’ Clippers Coach Vinny del Negro said after practice Monday morning. ‘We’ve just got to go through the right process.”
