Continuing the onslaught of search-term lists, Bing has also released its rankings for 2010.

This year, the lists are a bit, er, fluffier than they were in 2009, as Kim Kardashian supplanted items such as ‘swine flu’ and ‘stock market.’

The celebutante landed 20% more searches than the holder of the No. 2 spot, actress Sandra Bullock. After them came Tiger Woods, Lady Gaga, Barack Obama, Kate Gosselin and Justin Bieber. The terms ‘hairstyles,’ ‘Walmart,’ and ‘free’ were the only breaks in the star-powered train.

But let’s not forget AOL. By separating its searches into themes, the Internet company is showing a bit more variety. Like Yahoo, ‘BP Oil Spill’ was the most-searched in the news category. ‘Bedbugs’ ruled in the health section, ‘Tiger Woods’ dominated in celebrity, and ‘Betty White’ led in trends. The ‘iPad’ was the top searched term for shoppers, while movie-goers looked for ‘Alice in Wonderland.’

Over at Ask.com, managers have consolidated 10 leading questions from 2010 along with answers submitted by users.

According to those users, the best coffee under $10 comes from Dunkin’ Donuts, the location of the first date is a good bet for a proposal site, and beginner skiers shouldn’t waste their money on expensive boots. They also suggested ‘The Big Bang Theory’ as the best new television show and Kayak.com and Travelzoo as the best websites for travel deals.

The site also broke down by category common searches from its 90 million monthly domestic users. Celebrity watchers wanted to know Bieber’s age, Taylor Swift’s current paramour and whether or not Lady Gaga is actually a man.

Technology fans were curious about apps and games for the Apple iPhone and iPod Touch, while health queries centered around weight and pregnancy issues as well as cures for migraines.
