Brian Chapman, 32, a white man, was shot inside a home at 9135 Larke Ellen Circle in West Los Angeles and died at 5:22 p.m. Friday, March 2. Police said Chapman was shot in a father-son dispute. His father, Carl Chapman, was arrested and prosecutors have filed murder charges against him. Father and son had a history of conflict, police said. The younger Chapman had shown up at his father’s house that day, and the elder killed him, investigators said.
