Wayne Hughes, 26, a white man, was stabbed in the chest and back at 10965 Bluffside Drive in North Hollywood and died at Holy Cross hospital at midnight, March 25. Arrested was Anthony Lovato, 26, a white man. Police said the pair argued over a woman, and Lovato stabbed Hughes.
Update: The Los Angeles County District Attorney declined to file charges against Lovato, saying there was insufficient evidence to prove the killing was not self-defense.
