Henry Rodriguez Jr., 44, a Latino man, was shot at 504 N. St. Louis Street in Boyle Heights in LAPD’s Hollenbeck Division, and died at 5:25 p.m. Saturday, June 2.

Rodriguez was standing with a group of transients in the street. A car drove up. Someone yelled ‘Where you from?’ Some answer came back from the group, but the response was gunfire. Rodriguez was struck and transported to County-USC, where he died.
