Rodrigo Hernandez, 55, a Latino man, was hit on the head during a robbery at the intersection of Sherman Way and Lankershim Boulevard and lingered for two weeks in a hospital before dying at 4:10 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 2., LAPD North Hollywood detectives said. He was a day laborer, they said.

Investigation continues on this case.
