Darlene Lamb, 38, a black woman, was stabbed to death inside her apartment at 15610 Nuanu Ave. in Gardena on Friday, Feb. 8. Gardena police officers received a radio call about a woman found dead inside her apartment. Upon arrival, officers discovered Lamb had been stabbed several times in the stomach. Her time of death was listed as 10 a.m., according to a coroner’s report. A man, who is also a resident of the apartment, is being questioned by detectives about the incident. He was arrested on unrelated warrants, police said.
