Gerardo Canenguez, 19, a young Latino man, was shot in the face while riding his bicycle near the intersection of Wilton Place and Clinton Street in the Hancock Park area Thursday, Feb. 14. He was transported to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, where was pronounced dead that same day at 11:49 a.m. The shooting appears to be gang-related, police said. Homicide detectives with LAPD’s Hollywood Division are investigating.
