David Harris, a 23-year-old young black man, was shot in the chest at 103rd and Alameda streets in an unincorporated area near Watts at about 3:30 p.m Monday, Feb 25. Harris was taken by ambulance to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 4:03 p.m.
