More than 200 state and local police officers served more than 30 search and arrest warrants during a gang sweep in Compton this morning. The raids were a culmination of a seven-month investigation, called Operation Killen Court, that targeted gang members in the Mob-Piru clique of the Bloods. At least three warrants served were for murder, authorities said. Times staff writer Ari Bloomekatz reports more on the sweep.
