Compton: Man, 22, is shot in his home

Refugio Navarro, a 22-year-old Latino man, died of a gunshot wound to the chest on Thursday, Nov. 20, 2008, in the 1600 block of West Caldwell Street in Compton.

Navarro was shot about 1 p.m. in his home, according Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department records.
