Long Beach: Man, 28, stabbed on bike path

Tutunoa Tunupopo, a 28-year-old man of Samoan descent, was found dead of an apparent stab wound to his neck along a bike path south of Pacific Coast Highway in Long Beach on Tuesday, Dec. 9, 2008, authorities said.

Long Beach police arrived at the scene about 8:40 p.m. after someone called 911 to report a wounded man, according to a police news release. They found Tunopopo dead on the east side of a flood control channel.
