Lincoln Heights: Man, 66, stabbed several times

Carlos Green, a 66-year-old Latino, died after being stabbed several times on Saturday, March 7, 2009, at Avenue 19 and North Broadway Avenue in Lincoln Heights, according to the Los Angeles County coroner’s office.
Green was pushing a shopping cart on the sidewalk at about 11 a.m. when he was attacked by an unknown assailant, according to Los Angeles police. He died at the scene, police said, and investigators do not have a description of his attacker. Anyone with information is asked to call police at (323) 526-3678 or (877) 527-3247.
