Historic South Central: Man, 35, dies of brain injury

Hector Carrillo-Garcia, a 35-year-old Latino, died of a traumatic brain injury on Thursday, March 19, 2009, according to the Los Angeles County coroner’s office.

He sustained the injuries at East Vernon Avenue and Staunton Street in Historic South Central, according to the coroner.
