East Los Angeles: Woman, 18, shot

Celestina Morando, an 18-year-old Latina, was shot in a possible murder-suicide on Thursday, March 12, 2009, in the 700 block of South Ditman Avenue in East Los Angeles, according to the Los Angeles County coroner’s office.
Police suspect Oscar Morales, 36, in the killing. According to police records, Morales shot and killed Morando then himself.
No other information is available.
