Antonio Araiza, a 46-year-old Latino, was shot in the chest and right arm and died June 18 at ahospital. He was shot in the 7400 block of Kelvin Avenue in Winnetka, according to the Los Angeles County coroner’s office.
Araiza was killed in a gang-related walk-up shooting, said Craig Harvey, chief coroner investigator and chief of operations for the coroner’s office.
He was shot in a garage about 7:05 a.m., taken to the hospital by paramedics, and pronounced dead at 7:57 a.m., Harvey said.
