El Monte: Job Gonzalez-Martinez, 20

Job Gonzalez-Martinez, a 20-year-old Latino, was shot several times in the 11900 block of Lansdale Street in El Monte and died Aug.9, according to Los Angeles County coroner’s officials.

Police received a call about shots fired about 2:30 a.m. When they arrived at the scene they saw a vehicle speeding away, said Ed Winter, a spokesman for the coroner’s office.

Gonzalez-Martinez was pronounced dead at the scene at 2:46 a.m., Winter said.
