If you are among the hordes standing in line this weekend to purchase the long-awaited final installment in the Harry Potter series, keep an eye peeled. Barack Obama could be in the crowd.

Michelle Obama told the Associated Press Wednesday while campaigning in Florida that when it comes to the Potter books, her husband, the Democratic presidential candidate, is in charge of buying them and reading them to their eldest daughter, Malia. (She’s 9; they also have a younger daughter, Sasha.)

‘He handles all of that,’ she said. ‘That’s one of those things, I’m like, ‘You are the Harry Potter parent.’’ she said.

With her husband rocketing to prominence in the White House race, Michelle Obama already has been the subject of several profiles, including one in Newsweek, another in USA Today and still another in the New York Times.
