Opinion: Can’t get enough of Barack Obama?

Then Sunday morning is made for you -- or your TiVo. NBC’s ‘Meet the Press’ continues its cavalcade of the candidates, with host Tim Russert devoting the whole hour to Barack Obama (he’s the eighth candidate to appear so far this year).

The only Republicans to make it on for the Russert interrogation are John McCain and Fred Thompson; the other Democrats were John Edwards, Joe Biden, Bill Richardson, Hillary Clinton and Chris Dodd. No word on Rudy Giuliani or Mitt Romney -- or, for that matter, Ron Paul and Duncan Hunter and Tom Tancredo and...

Obama’s not the only candidate on TV on Sunday. At the risk of enabling your politics-media habit, CBS’ ‘Face the Nation’ has Mike Huckabee and Ron Paul, ABC’s ‘This Week With George Stephanopoulos’ has Chris Dodd (and Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice), ‘Fox News Sunday With Chris Wallace’ has Bill Richardson and John McCain, and CNN’s ‘Late Edition With Wolf Blitzer’ has Joe Biden.

The only one to get a dedicated show, though, is Obama, and Russert’s first question has to be: Cone or cup?
