What’s next, a Power Ranger?

An Internet imp has apparently grabbed the website www.mittromney.org and made it his own. Sort of. For a time when Web surfers typed that URL into their address bar, they were redirected to Ron Paul‘s website. Now the link goes to Mike Huckabee‘s site.

John Pulawski takes credit for it all in a comment on another blog (we stumbled across it on TechPresident), though Pulawski doesn’t explain why he shifted from the current third-place Republican candidate to the second-place contender.

For those who don’t pay close heed to Web intricacies, the difference between the real Romney site and the fake one is the .org versus .com. Though pranks like this make you wonder if they ought to start assigning .con extensions.
