It’s pretty nice out here tonight

What a difference this week in the IE! After wilting in the heat and humidity last Friday at Corona Centennial, the weather couldn’t be more pleasant here at Riverside City College as I await Riverside North vs. Redlands East Valley.

Not only that, but the artificially enhanced field at RCC looks like something you’d see in the Pac-10. Centennial’s field, which will go under the knife in the off-season, consisted of scrubby grass with a large crown running down the middle.

North’s skill players just took the field for warmups, wearing uniforms that match the colors worn by Notre Dame Univesity (minus the recent bloodstains).
