Water polo: Villa Park beats its alumni

A great note by Dan Albano relayed the story of Villa Park’s water polo squad beating its alumni for only the fourth time in 20 years. The significance is that Villa Park has a strong water polo heritage, and the game included at least two players with World experience, two-time Olympic team member Doug Kimball and Andy Stevens. In this week’s Southern Section poll, Villa Park is ranked No. 2 in Division II, behind Servite.
