Barner off to good start

Running back Kenjon Barner of Riverside Notre Dame is one of the best uncommitted seniors in the Southland, and he started his high school season by rushing for 165 yards in 25 carries and scoring three touchdowns in a 46-14 victory over Murrieta Valley Calvary Chapel.

Barner, who’s 5 feet 11, is considering Arizona State, Oregon State and UCLA as possible college choices.
