Gave up 268 yards rushing -- including an 85-yard scoring run -- to Jonathan Franklin in a 12-7 loss to host Dorsey on Friday night.

Franklin rushed 26 times -- that’s over 10 yards a carry -- against a team that held Scott to 76 yards.

Wow. Even so, I’m unwilling to blame the defense just yet. It appears to me the Eagles (1-2) have bigger issues with their offense. To hold a team to 12 points should be enough to get a victory.

But it’s a great win for Dorsey (2-1).
