Final thoughts from Colton-Marina

Between all the firetrucks for Marina and the first downs for Colton, that was a long game to stand through.

Colton won, 52-14, by the way. The Yellowjackets looked like the top 25 team they should be, but after stubbing their toes last week against La Quinta and facing a less-than-stellar schedule the rest of the way, it could be tough to get back in our rankings.

‘All I care about is winning a CIF title,’ Damien Holmes said after the game.

He may get his wish.
