Los Alamitos Coach John Barnes said he and his coaches had been talking about just how good their team is. But at halftime at Cal State Fullerton, the Griffins are not nearly good enough to lead Orange Lutheran, which has looked terrific.

Blake Ayles just sacked Los Al QB Clark Evans on fourth down, and now Evans has 10 carries for 14 yards, and he is eight of 19 passing. Meanwhile, OL QB Blake Hyepock is 12 of 15 for 147 yards. Ricky Pemasa just scored with 25 seconds left in the half and the Lancers lead, 21-0.

‘We could win by a couple of TDs or lose by three (TDs),’ Barnes said before the game. ‘I just have no idea.’

OL fans think they have an idea. Right now it’s looking good for the Lancers. Very good.
