Scott going on recruiting trip to Florida?

Scout.com is reporting St. Bonaventure RB Darrell Scott is planning to make a recruiting visit this weekend to the University of Florida. If that’s true, he’ll most likely leave for Florida sometime this evening or in the early morning so he can be there in time to watch the Gators host Auburn at 5 p.m. PDT.

Florida is one of many universities which have expressed interest in Scott. USC, UCLA, LSU, Florida State, Michigan and Colorado are just some of the other schools competing for his services. However, it seems to me the defending national champion Gators are the front-runners for Scott’s services next fall.

I’ll be at the St. Bonny-Crespi game tonight at Pierce College, so I’ll be sure to ask him about his exact plans for the weekend.
