Corona Centennial needed just 2 1/2 minutes to take its first lead, marching down the field on the opening drive of second half and scoring on a 12-yard run by running back Ryan Bass.

Conversion is good and it’s No. 2 Centennial 24, No. 1 Mater Dei 23.
