From the Press Box: Barkley reads blitzes, makes plays

It took eight plays over 67 yards for Mater Dei to break on top, 7-0.

The drive was quarterback Matt Barkley (pictured left during summer passing league play) at his best, making Corona Centennial pay when the Huskies blitzed linebackers and tried to put the pressure on with five rushers. He completed three of four passes for 50 yards in the drive.

Robert Mojica scored on a four-yard run.
