I doubt the team that’s No. 1 in early October will be No. 1 when the season ends, but that’s why the season doesn’t end in the first week of October, I guess.
Here’s my top 10 teams in the SGV this week:
1. Charter Oak (3-1-1)...Check video below to find out why they are No. 1.2. Diamond Ranch (3-2)...only losses came to Times’ ranked Edison and Oaks Christian3. Arcadia (5-0, 2-0)...The Apaches will look to stay undefeated against 0-4-1 Glendale next.4. St. Francis (3-2)...Get schooled 33-0 at home by Saugus then travel to SO Notre Dame. Ouch.5. Los Altos (4-1)...This week will tell a lot about where Los Altos finishes the season.6. South Hills (3-2)...After losing first two, Huskies have won last three. Play Los Altos next.7. Glendora (3-2)...Open Sierra League action vs my No. 108. Bishop Amat (1-4)...Next four opponents have combined record of 15-5. 9. San Dimas (5-0)...Nico Barbone is for real, and so are chances of winning a Valle Vista League title.10. Damien (2-2-1)...Opens Sierra League action vs my No. 7
