The game between South Hills and Los Altos could be seen as two teams heading in very different directions. But that would be wrong.

South Hills (4-2) is definitely a team on the rise, but Los Altos (4-2) is by no means falling.

Los Altos will enter Miramonte League play with injuries and with their biggest flaw (no complementary weapons to go along with the running of BM-M) having been exposed ...twice. But the league sends three teams to the playoffs and Los Al will be among them. The others? Charter Oaks and Diamond Ranch.

South Hills has a much easier road to the playoffs. The Huskies should run away with the San Antonio League title and enter the playoffs on an eight-game winning steak. If they do that, they’ll be very tough to beat.
