Double duty

Freeway traffic was fast enough that I got to San Pedro from Jordan High in 34 minutes.

I got to see most of the first half between San Pedro and Narbonne, which ended in an 8-8 tie.

But I’m thinking Narbonne must be shaking its collective helmets after being turned away twice deep in San Pedro territory on an interception and a Pirates’ goal-line stand.

I’m not sure the Gauchos can withstand another close loss like their one to Carson two weeKs ago.
