Three-way QB battle going on at Paso Robles

Sure, his team is 6-1 with a big PAC-7 League showdown against Atascadero coming up, but that hasn’t stopped Paso Robles Coach Rich Schimke from fanning the flames on a three-way QB battle.

Schimke told the San Luis Obispo Tribune it would have to wait until tonight’s game at Arroyo Grande to find out whether Brandon Ladley, Austin Flynn or even sophomore Tom Bernal would get the start under center. Ladley and Flynn have both proven to be winning QBs and it seems Schimke is still trying to figure out who’s going to be his playoff playmaker.

Of course, if there’s a good time for QB experimentation, it would be tonight since the AG boys have been a little down on their luck this season.
