Rancho Verde vs. Moreno Valley will try again tonight

Rancho Verde received a call from its district superintendent Friday afternoon around 3 p.m. and had to pull the plug on its homecoming game against Moreno Valley, said Kevin Stipp, boys’ athletic director at Rancho Verde.

Stipp said it was frustrating to walk out of an assembly Friday evening around 7 p.m. and find the skies relatively clear. ‘When we left, it looked like we could have played,’ he said.

They’ll try to get in the Inland Valley League game this evening at 7 p.m.
