SF Valley/North girls’ golf: Hawes dominates at Marmonte League Finals

Simi Valley’s Amanda Hawes took home the Marmonte League title after finishing 10 strokes ahead of her nearest competitor after three rounds and 54 holes of top-notch golf. According to the Daily News, Hawes was the star of the show during Friday’s final round at Westlake Golf Course, shooting a 74 to cap off her remarkable tournament.

After her, though, it was all Westlake. Tiffany Uichanco, Liz Cornelison, Kate Gatena and Kayla Picciano all finished in Hawes’ wake and will be representing the Warriors at the Northern Individual Regionals on Thursday in beautiful Solvang.
