Canyon starting DB Corey McLaughlin suffered an ankle or foot injury early in the second quarter with the score tied 0-0 between his Cowboys and Saugus.

McLaughlin seemed to be in considerable pain on the sideline and was being attended to by the Cowboys’ medical staff. It doesn’t look like he’ll be back in this one.

Canyon has held Saugus to less than 60 yards of total offense, so far.
