SF Valley/North girls’ golf: Dos Pueblos, Hart and La Reina fall short

As you may have already read, it was a day of celebration for Cerritos and other South Bay and Orange County teams at Monday’s Southern Section team finals, but regional powerhouses Dos Pueblos, Hart and La Reina each proved its respective squad is only a quick step behind the section’s elite teams.
Emily Fox shot a 10-over-par 81 and teammate Nicole Bullemer finished with an 82 as La Reina finished with a respectable 425 on the afternoon.
Hart shot a 454 and was once again led by its freshman trio of Nikki Pritchard (83), Amanda Corr (88) and Brena Carlson (90). Kelsey Conway tallied an 82 and teammate Kristina Cheung finished one stroke behind for La Reina, which shot a 475 on the Jack Nicklaus-designed course at Dove Canyon County Club.
