Edison is looking a lot like Long Beach Poly did against Newport Harbor. Actually, they might be doing better than the Jackrabbits, who kinda fizzled in the second half during that stretch at the beginning of the season when the couldn’t put four quarters together.

I’ll tell you one thing, right now Edison has put together three quarters. The Chargers lead, 34-0. They got a 46-yard run by Areseo Lakey -- his third touchdown of the game and second rushing -- and a 64-yard pass from Nick Crissman to Michael Bogard. And no, it wasn’t no stinking shovel pass. It was a pretty-as-a-picture pass down the middle. It’s what UCLA recruited him to do. Somewhere in there the Chargers missed an extra point, but I don’t think they’re going to need it.

It’s 34-0 and the Chargers are pretty electric.
